I've been invited to blog live at this year's TiEcon 2007 event recognized as the world's largest convention for entrepreneurs. This year's theme is The New Face of Entrepreneurship.
"The face of business is dramatically changing as Baby Boomers, the Generation Y, mid-career women, and new business leaders are coming together to create the most diverse and innovative pool of entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs of today have broken age, language, geography, and money barriers".
It's tough to raise the bar on an annual event, but it looks as if the planning committee might pull it off this year. Speakers include exciting visionaries: Marc Benioff, Chairman and CEO of Salesforce.com, Meg Whitman, President and CEO of Ebay, Inc, and Tim O'Reilly, Founder and CEO of O’Reilly Media and many more.
Recognizing that bloggers significantly help fuel entrepreneurial ideas and business possibilities, TiECon's 2007 sponsors decided to invite official bloggers to hang out in the Blog Den at TiEcon where we can blog our fingers to a nub both days.
Just a taste of what you can expect May 18 and 19 at the Santa Clara Convention Center (Santa Clara, CA)....
- Meg Whitman, President & CEO, eBay Inc.
- Tim O’Reilly, CEO, O’Reilly Media
- Marc Benioff, Chairman and CEO, Salesforce.com
